It can be normal, some folks trim the hatch ribs more before gluing them up because the curve of the ribs off the CNC machine is a theoretical match to the actual curve of your deck. The decks can vary depending on where the hatch is located. The foam should take care of it but you won't know until you turn it over and sit on the hull in the water.
