Re: Choosing a Mill Creek
Posted by Andrew Kinslow on Feb 8, 2006
I have toured CLC's shop 3 or 4 times, have paddled a Mill Creek 15 on the chesapeake bay. I paddled it double and single without any problems. I think it would work just fine for what you are looking at with a combo river/lake rig. They are sweet boats. The one that I used had a rudder setup which was nice but not mandatory. They are not as responsive and aggressive as the closed cockpit versions, but probably more along the lines of what you are looking for. Incidently I live in Springfield, MO. Nice to see another from the ozarks in a CLC boat.
