I actually picked one of the ICOM radios recently. Waterproof and it was one sale at West Marine...they have some pretty good deals going lately if people are looking for this kind of thing. As for the pfd, I cant believe people would head out with out... Robert I would love to hear more about your trip. Do you post photos somewhere etc...?
