If you can find some pieces of minicell foam, carve them into little ramps where the ramp height is equal to the edge of your seat. carve the ramp so that it gradually falls off, thereby providing your hamstring muscles (underside of your thighs) with gentle support. This should provide you with heightened comfort that will reduce leg and some back pain. Some of the guys at the Guillemot Kayaks site have been using this technique for leg support for many years to good effect.
