Cool idea in the new kit about gluing the shearclamp proud of the top edge of the shear clamp and varying the amount of proudness...I guess thats called pride...depending on the deck radius...to allow for the correct bevel. I don' know if your other kits do that but the MC instructions did not (if I rem. correctly) and I think it would have been helpfull. It is a little hard to execute though. Once the goop is applied, the surfaces get slippery and holding the clamp with plenty of clamps to the correct curvature is tough. I can just plane it down more...if it is too proud in few spots...no problem ??
