Batten material
Posted by John Short on Jan 10, 2006
Okay, I have made the points on my plywood and am now looking to draw out the lines. What makes a good batten that I can easily get my hands on? I have tried numorous things, none of which are able to hold the curves fair.
Also, what is the best way to cut the plywood. I plan on staking the 4 sheets and doint those cuts all ai once, but what is the best method, hanging over the edge of a solid table or what? My limited experience with cutting large pieces of ply hanging off the edge of a table is lots of vibration, if that happens, then I will probably loose my acuracy of the cut. Thanks for the help!
