Peter,

Thanks for the response! What a great blog - I called the whole family in to go over it click by click.

We have more woodworking experience than sailing experience. We had to laugh (no offense intended) because we learned the NO CHEAP TOOLS lesson long ago.

Another woodworking lesson of ours is stated simply, "Sanding is Sad Time".

Anyway, thanks for coming across my post and replying. We'll be watching your progress.
