if it's the interior of the boat, i would not worry about them.

in my experience there is little way to hide these mistakes other than to paint over them.

if you are still working on the interior and have not put the deck on yet, will the deck hide these mistakes? if so, then just make sure you have sealed the inside with epoxy and move on.

use your learning on the interior to avoid cutting throught the veneer on the outside of the boat. to the extent you are looking to do a clear finish, this is where you have to be super careful.
