Fillet at chine near bow

I'm starting to fillet the joints on my Chesapeake 16 and was wondering about the area closest to the bow and stern. The panels really flatten out at these joints and there doesn't seem to be enoungh radius to put a fillet. should i just run up to this area until I bottom out with my spatula and then stop with the tape holding the rest?...I'm talking about the last 6-7" ...thanks for any help.
