For the long hull panels, I cut out "blanks" and scarf them together. Then I draw the panel on the long blanks. I've cut as many as four, 16 foot-long panels at once. However, it's important to keep the blanks level and clamped as you cut them, as sagging or twisting can yield slightly disimilar panels. I use a circular saw for the long cuts and a saber saw for the curves, cutting a little proud of the line, then planing or sanding right to the drawn line. With this method you don't have to worry about aligning panels to scarf them, plus you save time.
