Check out the REI-Outlet web page specials. They have good PGDs from $49 and up, skirts for $25, pump for $12, Titanium/neoprene farmer john wet suit for $60, carbon paddle for $120. You can make your own better than commercial float with closed cell foam. Aqua-bound paddles are some of the best value for price out there. Let me know by private emai if yo really get stuck as I have a bunch of extra stuff. Thrift stores are a good source for lots of cheap poly and fleece clothing layers. Get good head warmth and protection!!!!! You can take a gallon Zip loc bag, cut out the corners to slide on over your paddle shaft, use them a hand protector/pogies over mittens or gloves. Randy
