For what it's worth, after reading several accounts of both methods (yak vertical vs. yak horizontal). I made my endpours with the yak vertical. I used clear packing tape across the sheer clamps, and a mixture of wood flour and west system fairing compound. I used the MAS epoxies with slow hardner but made several pours of only about 4 ounces each until i had enough in the ends. I just waited about 4-5 hours between pours which allowed plenty of time for the heat of the first reaction to dissapate while still allowing for a chemical bond before adding another small batch on top of it. Worked perfectly for me so i guess I'm a proponent of the vertical method.
