I thought fiberglass kayaks were supposed to be super-duper light?

But I've never actually lifted one -- none of my friends is rich enough to have one. Heck, all of my friends put TOGETHER aren't rich enough to have one. :> They all have tupperware boats, and I have my skin-on-frame (and, soon, my stitch'n'glue).
