I had paddled the boat for about a year, then changed to a K-1. Recently learned a hard lesson about fore to aft balance in the k-1. A very low volume boat will tend to skip the first wave and pearl on the next if the center of balance is onlt about 1/2 inch too far back.

Since I'm going to strip the deck off and change a few other things, I'll find what seems to fit me the best and let you know.

By the way you can't even fit a six pack and a pair of dry tennis shoes in a Pax as it is.
