Check eBay. I got my ROS and two full rolls of sanding disks, plus shipping for less than the cost of a new one at Home Depot or Lowes. It was in the original box with the instruction manual.

I think a "one time" kayak builder sold it.

Also, everything I've read says go with the adhesive backed disks. Apparently the hook and loop (aka Velcro) wears out pretty rapidly.
