Kurt,

We have had 5 hurricanes in the past 13 months go through Florida. Three of them went over my house below Orlando. During that time we had 8 kayaks and one canoe on a rack in the backyard. Each time we laid them side-by-side on the yard and filled them up with water. They survived the storms but one neighbor got carried away with his chainsaw and dropped a tree across the boats destroying two of them. Sometimes when the stakes are really set against you then you just can't win.

The point is... Be as safe as you can friend because anything can happen.
