Ah, Birding!

Leslie and I had quite a shock when we got into our Pair O' Mill Creek 13s. Wading and diving birds routinely flushed at 100 yards as we attempted to approach in our bright red Tupperware recreation kayaks... But suddenly began allowing us 25 yard and closer ranges in our wooden boats. I found this to be an exceedingly interesting observation, and still do.

I mean, who would've known that a yellow crested night heron has such excellent taste in kayaks?
