At this stage I would alter my plans a little if I was you. You no doubt still have some weave texture in your epoxy or you wouldn't need another coat. I learned for Kurt that just adding more epoxy at this stage is just adding weight.
Use 320 grit and sand the entire hull down to smooth just enought to remove any texture. You may touch the glass in spots but that won't matter. Now add a skim coat of eposy with a squeegy. This will net you the lightest layup you can get with the glass you are using. And it will still be just as strong.
