model 4476,,cut a length of 1" webbing that can cover cleat and get secured under cleat by mounting screws. It provides a more precise positioning of the rudder but mostly the jam cleats seem to set more easily if the rudder line isn't providing a steady pull. If you have gear on the aft deck and the rudder line is running through the same looped deck rigging webbing then it doesn't always pull back enough to jam in a jam cleat,,the cam cleat can allow for a one move to set it but the jam cleat seems to require a pull back from the rudder or extra pull to set,,which sometimes allows the rudder to descend from the desired position once it's set in the cleat.
