okk,,brain on vacation. Place cam cleat a couple inches to the side of the coaming/sprayskirt at the thigh brace position,,with end of line attached to deck bungie you can play with different knots/beads on the line to handle up/back/down positions. Mounting cam cleat in a loop of webbing keeps it from getting hit and your hands/knuckles from getting scrapped. For the seal line the cam cleat works better than the jamcleat because you don't have to rely on the rudder pulling the line to cinch it.
