Well folks, it's official. After having the plans for a year and a half i've started the MC 13. Bulkheads are cut out, Bow Eye of Oak and copper is fabricated.

I'm making full size pattern templates out of Luan. I figure I can make my mistakes on the $10 per sheet stuff and get some practice scarfing in the process. All blanks are cut and most are scarfed together. Only have one more pattern to go before I transfer the lines to the good wood.

Been lurking here for a while now and have already learned a lot. Thanks for posting your glitches.
