Rudder instl on MC16.5?

Does anyone have an image of the installation of a Feathercraft K2 Double Rudder on an Mill Creek 16.5? A lateral view would be nice. The stern on my MC extends out 2.5 inches from a vertical line drawn from aftmost point of the deck downward. It seems to me that I'll to cut off that much for the rudder to hang vertically, but the instructions mentions cutting off of other models.

Or is it that the rudder doesn't hang totally vertical and it cants out away from the stern somewhat, in order to avoid contact of stern to rudder? tks
