with China bristles, and you can get broken fingers trying to use them for something other than varnish. In fact, she keeps hers on top of the china cabinet in the hallway, not out in the storage room. Just HOW she does it with no bubbles is really kinda beyond me- when *I* varnish I use a spray gun *grin*

Actually, having the stuff thinned JUST right and laying on a good coat, flowing it out of the brush, is the key- then you can LIGHTLY tip off any bubbles you see, but only just after you've brushed. In any kind of warm weather the surface sets too quickly to go back for long. If you do get them, just sand it back and put on another coat.
