I found that 20gauge copper wire was a tad delicate for holding the panels together at the ends where the tension is fairly supstantial. Regular 20gauge iron wire is bendable enough without breaking as long as you don't try and twist it too many times,,it's also cheaper. 18gauge copper is ideal since it can be twisted once to hold things together then twisted again when the panels are pressed together.
