epoxy dust in epoxy

yesterday me and my unkle tok his boat for a trip to there knew docking space. While we were loding it i heard a guy with a "snekke" (wooden boat usually two syllinders these boats are what a harley is on the road.) anyway he whas saying that when he was repairing his boat he had used ground up epoxy (epoxy dust) mixed into his still running epoxy. enyone hear know what kinda effect that has on the glue. will it be stronger, crisper, harder, more flexebal ?
