whistles

It produced kind of a pathetic sound, that whistle in Titanic. Kate half frozen floating on the door, trying to alert her rescuers she was there. But whistles are used by officials for all manner of things. The police to control the flow of traffic at an intersection, basketball, football, soccer, even waterpolo officials use whistles.... ah yes the officials at the jetski competitions last weekend used whistles too. I guess if racers intent on pursuit of first place can hear the whistle maybe others could too. I'm adding one to my PFD, no guarantee the jetskiers will heed it,but... RogerJ
