Yup, thats exactly what it was, an experiment. It turned out really well though. I need to put it next to a NB for a comparison. I bet it is pretty close. When you start messing with the dimensions, you really have to think way ahead to predict the consequences. The whole build was a fairly tense affair. With all the mods, veneer and epoxy problems, I am extremely happy with the outcome. I would like to get some unbiased opinions on how it paddles from fellow builders. I am supposed to have a pair of mc13s to build this fall and I'm looking forward to a simple build next time. I think when I'm done with them, the proceeds will go to a design program to take some of the risk out of my tinkering.-Joey
