Inlay Update

After some consideration and some testing on a very small piece of scrap, I have no confidence I'll be able to properly sand or chisel out a depression for this small inlay, so I've decided to glue it on the hatch with wood glue, then round it over, then put glass over it when the hatch is being shaped and covered with clear epoxy. I'll try to remember to take a picture so people can see how this turns out. I figure, absolute worst case, I can always sand it away completely if it looks horrible.
