Beale paddles, are VERY popular out in the pacific northwest. Out at the South Sound Traditional Inuit Kayak Symposium (SSTIKS 05), they were the most popular paddle there. From what I can tell though, a lot of people out east are getting them from Don Beale too.

They are also more resonable priced than Superior or Feathercraft, I haven't looked into any other brands, since I always make my own.
