Patrick,

I'm hoping you've photographed the worst of the "damage" (as we tend to do when proving a point).

I don't see any penetration through the fiberglass and if that's the case follow LeeG's advice and you'll see why I prefer bright finish over paint.

Now, I gotta know what you DID to that boat?
