If you don't like suspended back bands, that's fine. But try to restrain your enthusiasm for the alternative by leaving out the 'bs' part, wouldja? Two immutable Laws Of The Universe apply here:

1. One man's trash is another man's treasure.

2. Opinions are like... Ahem, well, just see Law number 1.

The main point I'd like to make is best said by LeeG, so wisely uttered early in my boatbuilding career:

"Finding comfort on bicycles is not always easy, and the same is true of kayaks. Try different things until you discover what works *for you*."

I believe anything BUT a suspended back band is BS, but you'll never, ever, see me actually say it... :P Besides, you may not even paddle the same way I do, which makes us both right - and both wrong?
