the wood grain probably doesn't match anyway. It's right at a narrow section of the deck where your skirt half covers things. I didn't bother cutting the deck panels to fit on a couple boats so it touched at the sheer (where a LOT of exposed end grain was showing)and opened up almost 1/8" under the coaming. Visually there's enough other stuff going on that trying to make mismatched ply mate up perfectly isn't really that important.
