Re: spring back of flush

I made four small fittings of two layers of 6mm ply glued together. They're about 1.5" long, 1" high and 12mm thick. Drill a 1/4" hole thru the middle and epoxy to the bottom of the boat just fore and aft of the hatch ribs. Pass the bungie thru the hole and tie a knot in the end so it won't pass back out. This makes them easy to adjust, just move one of the knots a bit. Don't forget to coat the fittings with a couple of coats clear epoxy after they're in place.
