Re: spring back of flush

that makes sense,,but I wonder if the latching mechanism pulling down the edges of the hatch take care of it? I haven't done 8mm flush hatches. On the regular CLC hatches and flush hatches (one thickness 4mm plus rib) where there's lots of bend the hatches flare up a bit beyond the ribs where there's nothing to retain the curve. On flatter aft decks where I've made flush hatches with the cut-out 4mm and glassed the underside of the hatch there was no springback,,but it was a flatter LT style and the latches brought the hatch onto the recess.
