Re: MC 16.5: How to carto

No, we didn't have time to sew up the cover last summer (we live 1000 miles away from where we keep the boat). The design is to have the cover go the entire boat length and about 8" down each side, with grommets every two feet. 1/2" webbing with small buckles will go under the boat to secure the Sunbrella top. The buckles will be located on the side, to make them easy to reach. We've also bought an air vent for the top to ventilate the boat under the dark (and presumably hot) cover. I can't remember where we bought the vent, but I believe if you google around "boat covers", you'll find it. Or try the Defender or West Marine catalogs.

Hope it works, as the 16.5 will be left out in the sun and wind most of the summer.
