Re: End Pours - CH17

I just did an end pour in the bow of my boat yesterday. I tried the build a dam method and sealed with modeling clay as suggested in the clc manual. For the most part it worked out ok but I will not do it again next time..or on the stern. In spite of being very careful to seal around the dam some of the goo oozed out and made it nearly impossible to remove the last bit of cardboard. The modeling clay is also very difficult to get out and some will likely remain. I like the last idea of fastening a little pine block under the deck for drilling!
