Varnish, Seat, Footbraces

Since I decided to go with a bright varnished interior, I need to buy some varnish...CLC sells the Interlux Schooner Varnish and Interlux Goldspar Satin Varnish, which I plan on using unless there are other, better ones that you can recommend (the Satin is for the interior; I understand I have to use the regular varnish first for UV protection.)

Also, I plan on using the happy bottom pad, rapid pulse back band, and the Yakima footbraces (using the flush mount kit, I think)...any comments from anyone on these?

Finally, a good friend of mine recommended a company called ONNO paddles out of CA; they made his a custom paddle that he is raving about, and they are about $200 cheaper than what I've seen for good carbon fiber paddles. Has anyone used them before?
