Don't go thinking that a stripper is a dream concept. I bought the plans for a Night Heron last year and lofted the forms during the winter. It's a piece of cake to do, it only requires more patience than a S&G needs and a few more tools. At least buy the plans and keep 'em safely nearby for that hot summer day when you got nothing else to do but start a new project. You have tons of experience from the good folks who frequent the Guillemot site, literally hundreds of years worth of experience to draw on.

As for doing a CLC boat, great start to a wonderful addiction. John, what is your cure for this type of addiction?
