thanks to karl and robert for the quick post response this is a fantastic resource (clcforum)it really helps to get info from people who have gone thru all this before. quick and to the point thanks for the advice....i really like wd designs im closer to clc so from a price and shipping point clc seems the way to go.in truth i would like to build a nick shades design a strip built kayak.however by learning from earlier post i should start a less complex project first i guess. but eventually that would be a dream project once completed...thanks again jb
