Port Lavaca about 10 May and travel to P'cola for an annual gathering of Trailer Sailor folks. We have some 60 boats signed up, from as far away as Montana, San Diego and Canada. After that long weekend, then we'll just mosey on back to Texas, as the mood strikes us. So it might be a 7 week trip.

We are not going to have the boat finished in time for any extensive shakedowns so will be forced to remain inshore, at least on the way over. That means ICW and THAT means a lot of motoring. BoRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRing, but safety requires it on an untried boat.

Coming back, should the boat work out ok, we may jump offshore at times, or even just bail out of the inlet at P'cola and lay a course for Port O'Conner. Who knows???

Being old enough to get Soc Sec checks has to have SOME advantages *grin*
