Epoxy hardening

At the tail end of a Pax hybride project and wanted to remove an air bubble in the stern hull seam. Cut out the bubble and applied a small patch of 6oz cloth and resin. Days later and still abit hard to sand as it appears to smear with the heat being generated by the orbital sander. Did some scaper work to remove much of the excess but wondering if anyone has a silver bullet to get me over this. Notes: Project at 65degree and dry basement with normal humidity.
