Howard, I think I got it. I forgot about the sheer being 1/4 high to begin with. If I stand back and look down the length of my boat....follow the bulkhead curve through the sheer and into the side panels, it lines up fairly well.

So after the deck is installed should I run a small bead to seal the line where the deck meets the bulkheads?
