Thanks Mac and others for a good idea. With all of these ideas you are obviously not glassing them into the boat - just making the studs and then gluing the studs to the boat....is that right?

Can someone tell me how big the base is on the actual CLC mounting studs and what size bolt/thread the CLC studs use?

Thanks for the great advise - gober I would like to see those pics if you could email them.
