Exterior joints w Varnish
Posted by Susan on Apr 16, 2005
Okay Folks, I'm trying to impress my new boyfriend with a completely varnished 17LT!
Page 102 part A. clearly directs me not to use wood flour on the exterior joints unless I'm painting the hull.
I've done a quick search of this forum for varnish and fillets, and it seems that some folks use a mixture of Cab O Sil and flour.
Can you help me out with this one? Can you use flour, or just CaboSil? How will it look? Dark lines?
I know enough not to use microballons, since I'm not into purple.
Thanks in advance,
Susie
