Terry: You offered to email directions on finding and installing the 3/8" brass strips, but your email address doesn't show up in your response. I built a CLC18 (http://24.76.175.175/~tom/kayak/kayak.html) and would now like to add the brass strip. Not only will it add durability, but I think it will add a nice touch to the black hull. So please do send me your sources and installation info. ...Tom
