Ray,

If you get a chance to watch John Harris do this in the "Zen" video from CLC, you'll see that he uses 4 identical spring clamps. When the assembly is flipped on its back and placed on the table, it is suspended on the arms (one each) of the clamps - assuring that it is lying flat and thus not warped.

Now, if I could only use John's clamps on my warped sense of humour......
