fairing the bow post fill
Posted by James E. on Apr 7, 2005
I wired my hull checked for twist and faired the hull in a room that barely fit the boat. This made it real hard to step back and view the bow. It seems now that I have it moved to the garage that the chine (bildge/sheer joint) on the left side of the bow sticks out a little more than on the right.
If I heat the fillet with a heat gun and clamp the joint so that it matches the angle on the other side of the boat will the fillet re-cure and make everything fair and groovey again?
