final cut of glass in hul

I am about ready to wet out my glass inside my hull today. I have it pretty much all trimmed to fit, except the glass goes over the side of the boat now. It is not final cut yet.

Should I cut the glass to match up with the shear clamp after I have wetted it out, or cut it to match up to the shear clamp before I wet it out ?
