Re: Sea Skills vs Judgeme

that's a great story,,you are definately a fast track learner,,,15yrs ago I was paddling in Santa Barbara with NO self-rescue skills,no ability to roll, or had even seen anyone self-rescue in a sea kayak,,and I was paddling miles off shore regularly. Good judgement can do a lot to keep you out of a lot of problems, adequate skills for the conditions can also make the challenges safe and enjoyable. Me thinks that dark matter one reads about is the resevoir of fools luck allowing us to come back and learn more.
