Nice. Good engineers are also risk managers. If I had builders eliminate some of the 'glass from the Chesapeake kayak cockpit, about 1 in 250 would come unzipped at the seams when the paddler stepped heavily into the boat or ran hard up on a rock. That wouldn't do.
